This is a handcrafted/handmade rug, crocheted from reclaimed/recycled T-shirts. I always wash and dry the T-shirts used before making a rug. These rugs can be machine washed and dried. I've made several for our family and when ever they are dirty - I just wash and dry them - and back on the floor. These rugs are reversible. I always secure the ends so they will not show through.
